Sherwood Tennis

High School Tennis in Oregon is a fairly unique sport because the vast majority of varsity players did not start playing until high school.  Tennis teams have about 15 varsity spots, with 12 playing per match.  Most schools don't have more than 4 or 5 players who played before high school.  That makes it an amazing sport for people who want to try something new.  Quite a few players who didn't even start as freshmen have found a ton of success.  Getting a head start on that never hurts, but feel free to come out even if you are totally new.
